Minimally Invasive Bariatric and General Surgery

Asok Doraiswamy, MD, FACS

Dr. Asok Doraiswamy grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. He attended Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin where he received his bachelors degree in biology in 1997. He attended medical school at Saint Louis University and went on to complete his general surgery training at the University of California Davis in 2006. He then did his fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Doraiswamy's specific areas of interest include bariatric surgery, antireflux surgery, and advanced laparoscopy.

Daniel Moon, MD

Dr. Daniel Moon grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Johns Hopkins University where he received his bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering in 2002. He attended medical school at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Moon then spent five years at UCSF-Fresno training in General Surgery. He then stayed at UCSF-Fresno to complete a fellowship in advanced GI minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery. Dr. Moon has brought expertise in the latest innovations in minimally invasive surgery to the practice. He performs revisional bariatric surgery, foregut surgery, and minimally invasive colon surgery.

 

Minimally Invasive General Surgery

Kris Manchandia, MD

Dr. Kris Manchandia grew up in Los Angeles, California. He attended the University of Southern California, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in natural sciences. He attended medical school at New York Medical College in Westchester County, New York. He returned to Southern California and completed his General Surgery training at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Manchandia’s areas of interest include hernia repair, abdominal wall reconstruction, and laparoscopic surgery.

 

Minimally Invasive General Surgery

Jonathan Hwee, MD

Dr. Jonathan Hwee grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. He attended the University of California in Irvine where he received his Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed his General Surgery training at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He is excited to be back in his hometown and provide care to the people of this community.

 

Minimally Invasive General Surgery

Daniel Ybarra, MD, MPH

Dr. Daniel Ybarra grew up in the San Fernando Valley. Dr. Ybarra found his calling for medicine while serving as a Navy corpsman in Iraq. He went on to earn his MD and MPH from the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena. His interests include minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic general surgery.

Noah Swann, MD

Dr. Swann grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Chicago where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Southern California. He completed his surgical residency at Huntington Memorial Hospital and obtained his fellowship in bariatric, robotic and minimally invasive surgery at Loma Linda University. Dr. Swann is passionate about establishing patient relationships and believes communication is the foundation of patient centered health care. He performs bariatric surgery, foregut surgery, robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery and complex hernia repair.
